Life Wise mission is to create new possibilities for people, helping them achieve what most school systems fail to teach so they can reach their goals, and make what was imagined become reality. Our global marketplace features courses taught by real-world experts who have been there and done that. Below are answers to some of the frequently asked questions we receive about courses.

Each course is created, owned and managed by the instructor(s). The foundation of each course are its lectures, which can include videos, slides, and text. In addition, instructors can add resources and various types of practice activities, as a way to enhance the learning experience of students. 

You must first register to gain membership in order to take a free or paid course. Our courses are entirely on-demand and they can be accessed from several different devices and platforms, including a desktop, laptop, or phone. 
After you enroll in a course, you can access it by clicking on the course link you will receive in your confirmation email (provided you’re logged into your account).
There are no deadlines to begin or complete a course. Once you purchase a course it is yours to refer to at anytime unless we find you have violated one of our terms of use agreements or the instructor has pulled the course from our site. 
 
What happens if a course is pulled or canceled from your site?
From time to time a instructor may want to share their course not online but turn the course into a book. In such instances member will be noted via email if a course is being removed from the site and offered a refund if desired or a copy of the book being published

While Life Wise is not an accredited institution, we offer skills-based courses taught by real-world experts in their field. Every approved, paid course features a certificate to document your accomplishment.

Yes! You can get a small preview of a course by clicking on the image of the play button when you select a course to look at. Courses also have a written brief covering what that cause is about and a syllabus outlining topics covered. 
 
 
How can I pay for a course?
Life Wise supports several different payment methods, depending on your account country and location. We do recommend using the auto fill option so you can easily return to purchase other courses without having to refill your information every time. 
We want you to be satisfied, so all eligible courses purchased on Life Wise can be refunded within 30 days. If you are unhappy with a course, you can request a refund, provided the request meets the guidelines in our refund policy.

Our 30-day policy
While our 30-day refund policy is to allow members to learn risk free, we must also protect our instructors from fraud and provide them a reasonable payment schedule. Payments are sent to instructors after 30 days, so we will not process refund requests received after the refund window.
Additional reasons for denied refunds
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to limit or deny refund requests in cases where we believe there is refund abuse, including but not limited to the following:
  • A significant portion of the course has been consumed or downloaded by a member before the refund was requested.
  • Multiple refunds have been requested by a member for the same course.
  • Excessive refunds have been requested by member.
  • Users who have their account reported, banned or course access disabled due to a violation of our terms of use. 
  • We do not grant refunds for any subscription services unless otherwise required by applicable law. 
  • These refund restrictions will be enforced to the extent permitted by applicable law. 
 
Credit only refunds
In cases where a transaction is not eligible for a cash refund, the refund will be granted using “Life Wise Credits” provided it otherwise meets our 30-day refund policy. 
If your course purchase is only eligible for a credit refund, this will be indicated via email to you.
